Arsenal's bargain to star in season changing game.‏

Arsene Wenger know's a good bargain when he sees one; he bought Nicholas Anelka for half a million and sold him for twenty three million!
Of course that was a few years ago and transfer fees have gone up an awful lot since then. Ronaldo went for eighty million and Bale a few million more than that.
So when the Arsenal boss paid a reported forty two million pounds for German International Mesut Ozil it looks a great bargain in today's over inflated prices.
He was born to play football and watching him play is a real pleasure. He makes it look almost effortless which is a sign of a great player; the way he has settled in so quickly is another.
His reading of the game is second to none and he always finds a teammate or he's setting them up; over one hundred and fifty assists to his name is just incredible!
Playing against a team from the country of his birth will suit him; great players rise to the occasion. Borussia Dortmund looks a hard game; the team is playing well but the fans of the German side look to go the extra mile and they do make a lot of noise to say the least!

'Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger concedes that club-record signing Mesut Ozil is not “one of the favourites” to win this season’s Ballon d’Or – but feels such recognition is not far away.

The German playmaker has been named on the 23-man short list for the world player of the year award alongside the likes of regular nominees Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

His contribution to the Gunners has been instant as they have not lost in the league since his arrival on transfer deadline day, while Saturday’s 2-0 win over Liverpool moved them five points clear at the summit of the Premier League.'

Should the Gunners win tonight it will mean they are almost certainly through to the next round but make no mistake; getting anything in an away game in the Champions League is a result!
This game could have a huge affect on Wenger's side's season; being five points clear at the top of the Premiership means nothing in this game.
Some would say, after all the years without silverware, just to concentrate on one and go for it!
But that's not the Arsene or the Arsenal way; he'll be going to Germany to win the game.

There is also a little thing called revenge; the German outfit beating the North London giants at the Emirates.

The squad the veteran Frenchman has put together can win as long as every player is on form and singing from the same hymnsheet.
