Be wary of Cisse or it could be your swan song‏

The first thing I'm sure Swansea boss Michael Laudrup would have told his players is, 'Forget the South Wales derby!'
Local derbies are like no other game; when local pride is at stake and tensions are at an all time high. To lose must be a horrid feeling and one that is best left behind.
Michu is a player that they will miss badly; at two million pounds he has proved to be a bargain buy but sadly players get injured.
Laudrup himself was a Manager in Russia, taking charge of Spartak Moscow so he knows what is in store.
What has happened to the wonderful free flowing football we all got used to last season? It's pretty much the same side with a couple of additions so that's not the answer.
It could be down to a bit of a loss of form and all sides go through it; it's toughening it out that's the sign of a good side. You don't become a bad team overnight and I can't see it happening here.

'Tell us about Krasnodar...

  • Krasnodar is located on the Kuban River nearly 100 miles from the Black Sea.

  • Krasnodar is the economic center of southern Russia.

  • Attractions include St. Catherine's Cathedral, the State Arts Museum, a park and theater named after Maxim Gorky, the beautiful concert hall of the Krasnodar Philharmonic Society, which is considered to have some of the best acoustics in southern Russia.

  • The main shopping street is called Krasnaya Street (which translates as "Red, Beautiful Street").

  • FC Kuban play in the Russian Premier League after winning the First Division in 2010.

  • They were founded in 1928 and are nicknamed the Kazaki (The Cossacks)

  • The Kuban Stadium has a capacity of 31,654'

The Swans go up against a former Premiership striker in the form of Djibril Cisse, the former Liverpool, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers frontman could give the Welsh side problems. Ashley Williams will have a busy night if the Frenchman plays to the best of his ability.
What I've noticed about Cisse in his time in England is he needs to be involved in the game or he'll throw all his toys out of the pram and act like a four year old!
A draw in Russia would be looked upon as a good result; a win would be fantastic!
